1.) Hello there! Welcome to the OC meme. Please introduce the OC you'll be using. What's his/her/its full name?

His name is Ryokan, I usually call him Ironface, though.

2.) Lovely. What made you choose this name for your OC?

Well, I was out on the webs one day reading about Fallout 3's Uncle Leo, and saw that some of his dialogue was based off of a story about a zen master called Ryokan. I felt that Ironface and the actual Ryokan had similar peaceful attributes, so I named Mr. Anvil face after the zen master.

3.) I see. What does your OC think of their name?

I think it fits. And Ryokan thinks it fits. It's his name, y'know.

4.) OK then! Would they change their name if they could? Did they ever go by a different name?

Fuck no.

5.) What is your OC's background? Where did they come from?

Well, for starters he came out of a lady quohbaan. He lived into early adulthood before being picked up by human scientists, and happened to fall into rather sick hands. The person who was ordered to conduct experiments on Ryokan was not really right in the head, and so he replaced Ryokan's head for an anvil. I'm starting to think that I'm a mad gal with all these backstories.

6.) Describe how your OC looks, or just give us a picture. Your call.

Ryokan looks like any normal quohbaan. He has four arms, a tail, and walks on his toes like a cat. The only big difference is, of course, his anvil head that is connected to his body both by glowing tubes and by flesh.

7.) Why did you pick your OC to have this appearance?

I'm a sick freak. Also, I admired the creativity of The Keeper from The Evil Within and Pyramid Head from Silent Hill. Literal metal heads seem to fascinate me.

8.) Does your OC symbolise anything else?

Not really. He was just a product of my mind wanting to do something more... odd.

9.) What fandom is your OC from? Or is he/she/it in an Original Story?

Fandom? Pfft, fandoms.. Ryokan is made by me and is inspired by two specific video game characters. See above.

10.) I see. Can you summarize your OC's story?

Leijhing and Ryokan have a very positive relationship, and Ryokan wants to take it to the next level.

12.) When you were making your OC, how did you plan it out?

Ryokan was going to look more like The Keeper, and by that I mean he was going to be more bloody, bigger, and his head would probably be covered in chains or barbed wire, but I thought that would be a bit too much.

13.) Describe your OC's personality.

Ryokan is docile and peaceful, and likes to make people happy.

14.) Why does your OC act this way? Is it because of their past? Or is it because of a certain event or person?

Most people in my world get extremely unsettled or even fearful of Ryokans anvil head, and he just wants to show he's nice.

15.) What is one deep dark secret your OC has?

He often has horrible and painful nightmares about himself ripping off his own head.

16.) What does your OC regret the most?

I can't really say he regrets anything. I'll have to work on that.

17.) What is the worst thing that has ever happened to your OC?

Ryokan lost his ability to speak, eat, and breathe when getting his anvil head.

18.) What is the best thing that has ever happened to your OC?

His anvil head is extremely sturdy and hard and comes in as a great melee weapon if needed.

19.) Anything extra you want to add?

Ryokan gets his nutrition from crystals by absorbing their energy, since he has no mouth.

He can't say anything.
